The MAT-04 Quarterly Progress Tracker is the operational heartbeat of Pillar 7 — Legal AI Maturity Mapping. It converts strategy, governance, and transformation plans into a repeatable quarterly measurement cycle that produces DPS-grade evidence.
Use this module to:
- Confirm Metric 0 readiness before each quarterly review.
- Score all eight blueprint pillars on a 0–100 scale with narrative insights.
- Monitor Risk Taxonomy 2026 exposure and trigger Class 6 Shadow AI escalations.
- Govern Level 4 Agentic Tier deployments via a five-provision control set.
- Track ROAI, compliance, and risk in a single quarterly artefact.
- Capture approvals and retention metadata for defensibility.

Metric 0 Pre-Check
Complete all five gates before starting the quarterly tracker. If any gate fails, pause and remediate.
- M0.1 — AI BoM currency
- Confirm AI Bill of Materials entries exist and are current for all AI tools in scope.
- Cross-check with vendor assessments (VEN-04) and data processing agreements (DAT-03).
- M0.2 — GOV-02 currency
- Verify the AI Use Policy (GOV-02) has been reviewed within the last 12 months.
- Note any pending updates that may affect this quarter’s assessment.
- M0.3 — STR-07 engagement
- Confirm the AI Task Force has been briefed and the quarterly assessment is on its agenda.
- Schedule review and approval checkpoints.
- M0.4 — MAT-03 inputs
- Ensure current-quarter gap scores from MAT-03 are complete and accessible.
- Map key gaps to pillars and risk classes.
- M0.5 — MAT-02 baseline
- Reconfirm MAT-02 baseline scores as the calibration reference for this quarter’s targets.
- Document any structural changes that affect comparability.
Record pass/fail for each gate and remediation actions where required.
